Neighbors will have the opportunity to select the preferred project solutions for issues we identified in August. We hope to have a big turnout!

The new traffic calming workshops are each 50 minutes and will have a presentation, so please arrive on time. All of the workshops will be held at the Spokane Central Library, Events Room A, 906 W. Main Avenue, parking is available on the street or in the attached garage.

Glenrose YMCA Neighborhood Meetings

The YMCA of the Inland Northwest and ALSC Architects cordially invite you to attend a community engagement event regarding the planned Glenrose YMCA being contemplated near E. 57th Avenue and S. Glenrose Road on the South Hill.

Through effective public outreach, the YMCA intends to provide ample opportunity for residents and YMCA members to receive information about the project and provide feedback to the YMCA and to ALSC Architects, the facility design team.

A new YMCA is meant to meet the needs of it’s primary audience, and that’s you. Ensuring a new YMCA provides the best experience possible, we need to learn from you what your priorities are, what your wishes would be, and how we can build a Y that feels like a place your heart, mind, and body, will feel at home in.

The project planning is in its infancy, and feedback provided by residents and YMCA members will be crucial in the development of final site improvements and facility design.

To that end, there are three opportunities to share your thoughts

Tues, April 25: In-person meeting, 6 – 7:30pm,
Seventh Day Adventist Church, 5607 S. Freya St.
Light refreshments will be provided.
