February 2020 Meeting Materials
Check our Minutes and Agendas page for the agenda for our February meeting. We will be having a presentation on a proposed zoning change for some land on 53rd Avenue from single-family to high density residential. Another presenter will be discussing stormwater permit updates. And finally we’ll be seeking input on traffic calming ideas for the neighborhood and discussing project selection for the annual Neighborhood Community Development Program (formerly CDBG). We will upload the minutes for the December meeting ASAP.

SRTC Seeks Input on Transportation Improvement Plan
The Spokane Regional Transportation Council (SRTC) is hosting an open house on Tuesday, September 17th from 3:30-5:30pm at The Lair on the campus of Spokane Community College to discuss updates to the 2020-2023 Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP). The TIP will decide how $786 million will be spent on regional transportation projects through 99 different projects. See the flyer below for more information.
Some projects of interest to Southgate and areas around us include the roundabout at 57th and Freya, Latah Creek bridge deck replacement on Hatch Road, and lots of North Spokane Corridor work. You can see the draft TIP here for a preview of what they will be talking about at the open house.
